We love working with creatives and getting a glimpse into their minds and process. This month, we asked Jasmine Rutledge, who we've loved ever since we met at one of our photoshoots, to curate a selection of her artworks and self-portraits in for our Instagram feed.    

About Me
Hi, my name is Jasmine Rutledge… I’m a photographer, artist, & model in Los Angeles.

What do you want to express through your creative work?
Through my creative work I want to express playfulness, feelings of nostalgia, beauty, full expression of self, and exploration/adventure through experimentation.

Which moments in life do you most enjoy and help you get into a creative mindset?
I enjoy everything as much as I remind myself to. For me it’s being there for myself. Showing up everyday and starting without thinking too much (easier said than done, haha).

Do you have a clothing item in your closet that holds a special memory?
I would say my boyfriend's band t-shirt. I think about when we first met and at the time I was moving away & we thought our encounter was only momentarily. He gifted me one of his band tees as a memory of our brief time together. 4 years later we are still together :)
